La rentrée

On a fini notre première semaine, et tout allait bien jusqu’à mercredi soir quand Beau avait de la fièvre. Il était malade, et jeudi Steffi l’a soigné et je l’ai fait vendredi.
Notre Petit Oiseau

On a trouvé ce petit oiseau sous notre entrée. Il a tombé de son nid (le nid se trouve sous la partie de notre toit qui couvre l’entrée). On s’inquiétait que il se soit cassé l’aile, mais le matin prochain, il n’était pas là. Il n’y avait pas de plumes, alors on pense (et espère) qu’il va bien.
We found this little bird under our entryway. He fell from his nest (the nest is under the part of our roof that covers the entryway). We worried that he broke his wing, but the next morning he wasn’t there. There weren’t any feathers, so we think (and hope) that he’s okay. |
Enfin! (Finally)

Beau l’a enfin dit! Il a dit “Mom” (Maman) aujourd’hui. Je suis si content! Il a dit “Dada” (Papa) il y a 3 mois, mais je voulais qu’il le dise pour l’anniversaire de ma femme. Aucune chance! Mais elle a reçu son cadeau un peu en retard aujourd’hui (son anniversaire était le 2).
Beau finally said it. He said “Mom” today. I’m so happy. He said “Dada” 3 months ago, but I wanted him to say it for my wife’s birthday. No luck! But she got her present a little late today.
